I sense an outbreak of tabloid blogging coming on over at Mr Eugenides’ taverna…
At Henley we know about the two Miss GB Contestants, but we now also have the “Fur Play Party” candidate, who is apparently (OK - it’s his book) endorsed by Mr David Milliband MP the Metric Minister:
“I have played cricket with Richard Heller. This book is as playful as his bowling and unique as his batting. I hope it drums up interest in politics and cricket alike.”
Statements that would not be heard in Great Britain:
Construction work for mudroom/verandah is on slow-down for a couple of weeks. Carpenter has gone to hunt bear.

I have updated my Eurovision Song Contest live blog to include audio, video and pictures - including a long-dead of photo of Anthea “giving Brucie a twirl”, and this photo of the Greek entry doing the Birdie Song. The updated version is here.

[Update: now with added pics and sound]
In with Eurovision tonight. The avoidance strategy has failed for the first time in about 15 years. So I thought we’d have a Eurovision live blog until I get bored or go bonkers. I’ll try to put the odd pic and sound clip in but no promises.
More people in political blogging are “trying out” Twitter, but defining the service is still like trying to nail jelly to a wall.
