I think it is perfectly subverted by the Christmas story, one aspect of which had Christ becoming a refugee pursued by the Authorities.

I agree. I think it’s completely contradictory for them to use a holiday based on a person that preached forgiveness and inclusion, to leverage their agenda of exclusion.
In short, bad Christmas card idea!
