Tiger Woods: Mr Justice Eady has finally vanished up his own fundament
(For the record, this is a personal post, and no lawyers who write for this blog had any input to the article.)

Mr Justice David Easy Eady has given Tiger Woods an injunction (pdf) which, according to the National Media bans anyone publishing pictures of Tiger Woods naked, or any naked parts of his body.
The Injunction states that it applies to:
As far as I can judge, that isn’t me; I have not done, and have no intention of doing, these things.
There’s a wonderful paragraph of legal gibberish in the covering letter, which is not mentioned in the Injunction as being banned from publication:
In the meantime, banning publishing photographs, videos or images of any naked parts of the claimants body would seem to cover Tiger’s face, so perhaps *all* photographs are banned unless he is in a Niqab wearing a motorcycle helmet with an opaque mask.
This would presumably include his own publicity videos for Gillette, which appear to include a half-naked Tiger, shaving.
Bearing in mind that English Courts have arrogated to themselves worldwide jurisdiction in defamation cases, and that this Injunction applies “within the Jurisdiction of the Court”, has Mr Justice Eady actually declared Tiger Woods’ own website illegal?
I’d recommend that a certain Judge be reassigned to adjudicating games of dominoes in a nursing home in Bournemouth.
I’m not interested in Tiger Woods’, his sex life, his peccadilloes, or the dodgy excuses he gives to the local police to cover his actions. If he wants to go through a waitress / party planner / porn actress / whatever each week, that is essentially his own business.
However, when Tiger Woods steps into an English Court and does this, then he has entered the war between certain stupid sections of our judiciary, and the wider attempt to reform some of our more idiotic legal structures.
The information is available worldwide. These banning exercises are a stain on the reputation of our country.
This is a joke.
As is Mr Justice Eady.
As is this area of our law.

The pre publication test case for libel the famous Groucho Club instigated against award winning filmmaker and writer Tyrone D Murphy is now at an end
The Groucho club, after nearly a year has issued discontinuance notice just a week before a case management conference was to take place where an order time for standard disclosure would have been made
The notice was issued shortly after a witness came forward. The statement was lodged with another Court in Wales in relation to a Data Protection Act case that Tyrone D Murphy issued against the Groucho Club
The witness who was a manager from the Groucho Club had just left his employment at the Club recently. His detailed statement not only refutes the Groucho Club statement of case but is a detailed statement of the events at the Groucho Club over a five year period.
The case now being at an end, no deal was done or no deal will be done. The book “The Groucho Gate Affair” is going ahead.

Another shot in the PR foot from “reputation managers” Schillings. Look at the reference on the covering letter, no less than four lawyers at an average of £400 per hour had input on this gibberish. They saw this cash cow coming.
