Overall Wikio Blog Rankings for December: Exclusive

The Overall Wikio Rankings for December, based on November Data.

At present there are noises about a new Wikio category being introduced for “Religion” blogs, given that there are around a dozen or fifteen in the Top 250.

Ranking by Wikio

Notes

The pre-Christmas Craft Card Challenge invasion continues. Never fear, a General Election promises a poliblog backlash in 2010.

The Wardman Wire makes something of a jump. Although we have been quite quiet, I’ve done quite a few guest postings in different places this month.

Big jumps from Tory Diary and Left Foot Forward. If Left Foot Forward maintain their range and rate of output, they are probably headed for a long term Top 15 place. Liberal Vision has somewhat vanished from the rankings.

There has been a bit of debate about whether the “polite left” (e.g., Sunny Hundal’s sites) or the “rude left” (e.g., Harry’s Place) was dominant in the leftish Political Blogosphere last month, kicked off by Penny Red. Given that Liberal Conspiracy and Harry’s Place are in the top 10 on Wikio this month, and Pickled Politics has gone backwards, it appears to be a score-draw at present (in so far as these things matter). Or, as Mr Campbell likes to tell us about everything that dozens of people testify that he did, “Not Proven, Guv’nor”.

  1. Strange Matt, I received a different top 40 from Dan today. Aside from other variations it had Craig Murray 39 and me 40.

Doesn’t really matter though does it.
