I saw David Kerr on the TV debate and he tore a shred of all the other candidates. He has a lot of anger and passion while the rest appear to be the usual glib party hacks. At one point he said: "The cost of a referendum, about 8 million quid, but the price of freedom, priceless!"

Labour's treatment of this area has been a disgrace. They should hang their heads in shame at the antics of Baron Martin and yet they have resorted to a typical negative carping campaign.

I'm sure the voters in Glasgow East will have noticed a huge difference with John Mason, the voters in Glasgow North East have a similar opportunity to elect an excellent honest hard working MP in David Kerr.

Labour's victor in Glenrothes in sharp contrast can't even find it in him to back an enquiry into the Iraq war!

Thankfully the SNP haven't stooped as low as labour, Tom Harris etc.

They've never told the electorate my thoughts about the labour candidate so I'll tell you Matt.

He's a man who works part-time at a university in London. I say part-time because he says he lives in Glasgow 4 nights a week so he can't be doing a full time job in London can he?

Also, why has he gone to London to work and not stayed in Scotland? Couldn't he find a job here? I doubt if he is paid much more in London than he would at some Scottish universities.

Another thing, and this is purely a personal thought, why is a 36 year old man still living with his Mum and Dad? Is it his intention to buy their home if they haven't already bought it? I would doubt that really as it's in a tower block. I certainly wouldn't want any of my children to still be living at home when they are 36 as I'd feel I'd failed in encouraging them to be independent. But of course nobody will question Mr Bain about that will they and the SNP won't being it up because it's personal.

I would if I was campaigning there.
