5 Interesting Tweeple and Tweetlonger for your Twitter Toolbox
This is my first batch of “Interesting Tweeple”. I’m starting gently – here are 5 feeds to read, and the Twitter Grader tool.
This article is crossposted to Twexpert and the Wardman Wire.
Interesting Tweeple of the Day
@CharonQC Is a legal podcaster who publishes a daily audio programme with thousands of downloads per episode (any sponsors out there wanting to reach up to 15k legal eagles?) who also edits the InsiteLaw.com legal site. He is currently doing a series of 20 podcasts looking at “Modern Liberty” and related questions.
@alantlwilson is a Bishop who writes a blog with a short, pithy article each day about current affairs, or whatever he is doing. Today’s is about the 25th Anniversary of the death of Pastor Niemoller.
@SchoolDuggery is a site “Keeping an independent and occasionally sardonic eye on schools and education. Nothing to sell but opinion is free”. There is no website, just the Twitter feed. Eclectic and interesting.
@PoliticalNouse is Sue Normanton, who says “We ask the questions that ordinary people have discussed with me down the pub, in the street or in everyday conversation. We are 13 women who care about the UK.” They don’t pull too many punches. No website.
@NSciEngWeek is news about National Science & Engineering Week, 6-15 March 2009! It is quite a low volume feed. Send some questions to wake them up.
TwitterGrader for Your Toolbox
Twitter Grader measures the “power” of any profile. In simple words, you can measure the power and authority of your twitter profile using this service. It is a better measure than just the number of followers.
This is a service I have found useful.
