And a Merry Christmas to everyone in a multicultural and slightly confused society.

  5. wow interesting photo ! Novel idea crucifying Father christmas ! I guess we have crucified Christmas by responding to the ads and purchasing ridiculous amounts of stuff ! even the king of kings only got 3 presents !
However in a way we have killed the soul of christmas too , its innocence and joy , its liberty of spirit .
Father christmas comes from saint Nicholas , a priest who used to give in the true christian way , annonymously , hence the purpose of the myth !Crucifying Father christmas is just the same as crucifying the saint who lies behind the myth , or getting rid of any christian element of the event . Take christ out of the occasion and what have you got ? Mas ? A mass of people killing each other to get the best deals to give their greedy slef centred children and peers ? Just a thought !

  7. Yes that’s a representative way to show what the heck is going on… sometimes I stop myself to think of what would happen if almost a century ago Coca Cola Co. wouldn’t invent the White and Red Santa… We would confuse him with St. Joseph?
