Look Around - Callaghan’s Chart Campaign
This is a beautiful song, released by a singer-songwriter who has no manager, no record label and no PR budget, who wants to break into the Top 40 - and should be able to if she can sell 2,500 copies of her song, only available online - and for just 79p! Bargain.
And all the money raised will go to charity.
The reason for this is as Callaghan says:
I want to bring my music to a wider audience, and send out a really strong message that the public can decide who is successful – not just Simon Cowell!
There are three stages to my campaign:
• First I need to get loads of people to sign up to my mailing list to pledge their support, so I can show the media that I can do this
• Next, when the mailing list is nice and full I’ll approach the press for coverage
• Finally, all I need you to do is spend 79p of your hard earned cash on the week of 26th October to help me achieve this goal. If I sell over 2,500 downloads you might just see me in the Top 40 on 2nd November!!
You can visit www.callaghaninfo.com now to hear a clip of “Look Around” and join the mailing list. Once signed up you’ll receive updates of the campaign’s progress and can also get a free Callaghan download of “Over the Rainbowâ€.
This campaign is about shaking up the music industry and seeing what one unsigned artist can achieve with the help of music lovers, so I’ll be donating all proceeds from the single to the music charity Live Music Now.
It’s a tough challenge and I need as many supporters of real music as possible to get behind it, so please pass the message on to friends, family and contacts who love real music. With your help we could build a real story!
I urge you to go and spend just 79p of your hard-earned money on this download, either here or here.
If you’re still not, sure you want listen to Look Around before purchasing, you can listen at Callaghan’s website or watch the video of her on Sky’s Red TV singing it here.
Go on, let’s show the music industry the power of the internet and of good music, rather than pre-packaged crap.
