Joan Collins? Girls in bikinis? I thought you didn’t like linkbait Matt? And as for cosying up to Sky - so much for blogger independence from the mainstream media ;->
@David Keen: Joan Collins? I probably wouldn’t recognise her (I hope).
On Linkbait - interesting. It is anything that people want to link to - so any well written resource article (or your Dr Who stuff) is Linkbait. I generally don’t like too-offtopic or too-downmarket linkbait if it is enough to undermine the mix of a site.
Certainly I’ve done occasional ones - there was one about Lady Godiva somewhere, and then there is this ;-).
I drew the line at Cheeky Girls in Lib Dem Orange Bikinis.
I’m wondering about ignoring the Daily Star.
I’d call the Daily Papers as being like a regular roundup - traffic bait to keep people coming back for something useful. And it is efficient because once the system is set up it is quick to do.
Cameron? Economic crisis? Bah! Good to see the Daily Star have their finger on the pulse as usual.
Heh.

Oh, much better. Much, much better indeed.

Booo! I vote keep the Star and the other red tops. Nothing wrong with a few of light hearted headlines amongst the doom and gloom.
