Absolute Crap on the Today Programme?

Did I just (6:35am) hear someone say “absolute crap” on Today on Radio 4 in the report on Royal Ascot? It was the interviewee, but - verily - we are tobogganing downhill at a rate of knots.

Horsey High Society will be at Doncaster or Southwell in future, and uncouth Southern Oiks from Chelsea Green, Henley or Glyndebourne will be banned.

Unlike the entire media yesterday, the BBC has no mention of the obligatory quote from yesterday:

The Guardian says the orders are from the Queen’s representative and include the phrase, “Knickers, a definite yes, but not on show please, ladies.”
