  1. via Twitter:
    http://www.bbc.co.uk.

  2. I’d have gone for BBC on first thought - but I’m thinking google may well trump it, at least on unique visitors…

  3. hmmm. Google, Itunes, or some gambling or gaming site. Do you mean Uk-based website, or site visited by UK-based web users? I wouldn’t be surprised if it was IPlayer at the beeb, I’ve watched more telly on that than the real thing in the last month.

  4. Surely it’s mattwardman.com!

It depends on what you mean by ‘in the UK’ - is it the UK based website with most hits, or the website with most UK hits, or the UK based website with most UK hits?

I would have thought that bbc.co.uk would be up there; it wouldn’t surprise me if some of the sports betting sites were up there as well. Google.co.uk might be one.

  5. Nah its mine

  6. Thanks both.

I thought someone would say that, Dave vbg.

  7. >Surely it’s mattwardman.com!

    Just spotted that.

    I wish. Maybe…

The figure that I’ll be focusing on are that Goog properties deliver more than a third of UK traffic (i.e., are the referrer) and a few implications.
