10 Downing Street has started Twitter-ing

Via Simon Dickson on Twitter.

10 Downing Street has started putting out “headlines” via Twitter. I am number 8 in their followers. So Twitter now needs to be renamed “Twister” (it will be controlled by the Press Office.) .

If anyone is interested http://twitter.com/10downingstreet is still available. No it isn’t; it is me.

In the interest of open and accurate communication about government (and executive), I have also registered scottishgov (scottishgovernment is too long), and I have left scottishexec for Alex Salmond’s mob.

They can’t come after me for scottishgov, because that is the name of my blog - and they would have to prove that that is what they are in law.

And they can’t, because they aren’t - no matter how many signs they put up and letterheads they change.

Heh. Sorted.
