Fawkes and Ireland: A No Score Draw in a Lose-Lose Argument
On the Guido vs Ireland scratch match, where there’s a possible legal action.
I think they have both done some excellent work.
I’d also note that Tim is probably one of two people (the other being Iain Dale) - who, in their different ways, have done most to persuade our politicians to take blogging seriously - which must be a postive thing.
I don’t know the ins and outs, but in my opinion legal action - especially libel action with all the overtones of censorship in the wake of the Usmanov affair - should only be a last resort.
Not clever. Not clever at all. Imho. Unless it’s all someone’s conspiracy to get our attention - in which case it has worked for a day or so.
Move on, boys.
