December 24th: The Night Before Christmas - Wardman Wire Advent Calendar

Eagle-eyed readers will not that the Advent Calendar took a break on the 23rd December. There are two potential reasons for this:

1 - Unlike the Holy Family, the Shepherds did find room at the Inn and - having got a little merry - were unavailable to feature in the cartoon (guess why he Inn was full … drunken shepherds sleeping off a party, anyone?).

2 - My laptop’s hard drive started shrieking like The Incredible Hulk wringing out a guinea pig, which means that the first five minutes when it powers up next may be all the time available to remove critical data before the hard disk goes to hardware heaven. Hence the laptop was unavailable for making blog posts.

Take your pick.

Anyway - the final cartoon of the calendar:

Christmas Eve

As for me, I am off to Tesco (=Morrisons up here).

There will be one more post from me tonight, which will explain what will be coming out this week on here.

This posts is number 987 on the Wardman Wire, so I’ll tell you for free that there will be at least 13 more posts before New Year.

  1. I got home to realise I had no lemons. G&T with no lemons, pah.

    Off to Tesco express then.

Merry Xmas Matt - I’m glad to have discovered your blog, although the ping pong spat was not the best of starts.
