Wardman Wire News and Comment Integration

Last week when I commented on the new Webcommons Parliamentary Information site launched by Mike Rouse and Nick Mounsey:

2008 should be interesting. On the political news front, at least, they may get a certain amount of competition from this neck of the woods.

Today I have launched a site to aggregate mainstream media news stories, Politics-Daily, and I have created a navigation bar including that site and my Welsh blog aggregator Politics-Wales.

The aim is to provide services to help keep bloggers abreast of current affairs and news, and provide an alternative to reading multiple websites or using an RSS Reader.

In time I will be adding some other sites to a common navigation bar to provide a range of information sources for bloggers.

If there is one difference between my approach, and that of Webcommons, it is probably that my approach is deliberately regional and distributed.

Comments are most welcome.

  1. Matt, I can’t keep up with all your sites.

  2. It should be clearer in the next 3 weeks.

  3. Bated breath, old son.

  4. Absolutely. We’re offering feeds for now, but will navigate into other offerings as the site grows.
