John Denham: I am not responsible for my policy

20070314-head-in-sandI’m just listening to John Denham (Responsible for “Innovation, Universities and Skills”) on Radio 4.

He is blaming the Tories because his policy isn’t working.

Perhaps he needs to remind himself who has been running the country for the last 10 years.

I’m surprised he isn’t blaming Lloyd-George, William Pitt the Younger, Robert Walpole or Henry VIII.

Or - for that matter - Julius Caesar. After all, the Romans had a devastating effect when they invaded.

Idiot.
