My first comment on the Liberal Democrat Leadership contest:

Those three look to me like Chris Huhne, Nick Clegg and Simon Hughes.

While Ed Davey and a few others (including all the women) are pictured below - ferrets in training if you will. The two comforters are likely to be Ming and Lord Steel.

This morning we’ve already seen the flick knives magically metamorphasize into Laurel Wreathes, so let’s see what sort of contest we get. And that is the most intelligent comment you will get from me for the next hour at least.

I wonder if the Millenium Elephant is competing, or the Bar Chart warrior will call the odds? As a final act, I note the Bar Charter’s latest comment:

Well, I’ve said it before, and I’ll say it again. Ming Campbell is not the problem.

Not any more, he isn’t.

Let the tumbrils be replaced by hustings.
