  1. From ScotsToryB:

When I decide to comment I find comments turned off!

    AAAAAARRGGHHH!

So, whilst I remember, re your ‘10 steps etc.’ the best advice other than that was what I heard from (I believe) John Cornwell on how to write a book:- ‘write 10 pages a day for a month, result, a 300 page novel. Take rest of the year off and start again’.

    That would be the life.

  2. Sorry about the comments.

My blog editor (which publishes posts from my PC to the blog) turns them off – it’s a bug with the version of Wordpress and the version of the editor.

The solution is for me to upgrade the site, but there are 500 posts on there and I’m nervous! At present I have to bounce into each post online and set the “comments on” checkbox. I sometimes forget.

The rub with the book (or the blog) is to turn it into cash so you CAN retire.

    Working on that … slowly.

  3. May I add one?

    11. Read every chance you get.

  4. Of course.

You’re up at a funny time!

  5. I think learning how to self-review is an important skill.
