Responses to Got to Be Gordon Batch 3

20070614-gordon-brownSome more bloggers have responded to the Got to be Gordon meme (the full list is here):

Norfolk Blogger praises Gordon for the Independence for the Bank of England and Selling of 3g Licenses for an unbelievably high price at the very top of the market.

On the other hand he should be embarrassed by his robbing of pension funds and keeping quiet on Iraq until it was too late .

In the next couple of years, he should Adopt the Green Tax Switch policies the Lib Dems and stop opening his mouth in that peculiar way every time he takes a breath .

Duncan Borrowman praises Mr Brown for the Independence of the Bank of England and for sticking up to Blair some of the time.

He should apologise for funding the war in Iraq and reaping untold damage on the NHS .

He should immediately scrap student tuition fees and scrap ID cards, later introduce STV for ALL UK elections at all levels and change tax from people doing productive things for the economy like working and spending money to people doing bad things, particularly a carbon tax .

Tom Papworth has an interesting set of suggestions:

Gordon Brown should be proud of resisting demands from within the Labour Party to reverse all the good legislation of the previous two decades and becoming a father. He should apologise for pushing the size of public spending to the highest level ever seen and claiming the credit for economic growth that was in spite of, rather than because of, his efforts.

Immediately when he becomes PM, he should Resign (but as that won’t happen, so…) declare an intention to establish a fully elected second chamber - and follow through quickly and scrap the plan to introduce compulsory ID cards.

While he is PM, he should decentralise and federalize the UK and cut taxes through a rise in the personal allowance to the equivalent of the minimum wage.

and I just spotted the Millenium Elephant, whose recent posting is a 2871 word review of Dr Who.
