London Olympics Logo

q-logo-olympics

The London Olympics logo is out.

Not having looked at any marketing or artistic b*llocks about it, I would still surmise the following:

1 - Zaha Hadid has some input into the design. She is designing the Watersports Centre (sorry) and is the biggest ego involved after Ken Livingstone. It has all the angulae impracticality that is one of her characteristics.

2 - The four peripheral elements represent four sections of London, the four countries of the UK, and the four corners of the world. We have multi-dimensional marketing b*llocks.

3 - The pink and yellow is symbolic of something that I have not yet identified.

4 - Someone will retire on the proceeds of designing the logo.

OK. I am now going to read the blurb, and will report back.
