The Wardman Wire

Nick Robinson, the BBC Political Correspondent, on The Daily Politics today, commenting on the task of the politicians:

They have to connect that high westminster politics with everyday life.

Sometimes the assumptions made by politicos gets me down. Let me re-write the quotation:

They have to convince people living in real-life to peer into the gutter and take an interest in politics.

Anyway, that is my take.
