Mayor of Mansfield Re-elected
A story which is quite local to me.
Tony Egginton has been re-relected Mayor of Mansfield, defeating Alan Meale MP (the one who called Margaret Thatcher “ducky”).
I think that is good, because I support independent civic politics.
I’m not sure if there are implications for Alan Meale’s future as an MP.
