Google reduces ranking of major UK political blogs

20070503-PageRank-byFMLHere’s a change I just noticed in the Google figures. There are no UK Political blogs with a PageRank above 6.

A few weeks ago I collected data for Google data for around 50 popular UK political blogs. There were only two that came out with a Google page rank of 7 then: Harry’s Place and Bloggerheads.

A quick check now reveals that they are both down to a PageRank of 6.

As far as I know, that means that there are now no UK political blogs with PageRank of 7. The (I think) UK blog with the highest Technorati ranking - Gaping Void - still has a 7, however.

A small observation.

Is it a straw in the wind, or me whistling in the wind? And which way is the wind blowing? And why?
