Web Traffic – April – Report on Larger Referrers

A follow up to yesterday’s post reporting the traffic for The Wardman Wire during April.

I’m posting this, because I expect it to change substantially next month – I have just been recognised by Google as a PageRank 4 website. The result should be our appearing higher in the rankings so the blog should receive more traffic from Google.

Comments (from the top)

  1. Fakapster is a blog search site that seems to like me. I have no idea why.
  2. Stumbleupon is a Social Bookmarking site. I didn’t even notice the traffic until it had gone. Someone liked my Cricket category, including my essay about the International Cricket Council.
  3. The referrals from Mr Eugenides and Howling Spoons are from the 2 most recent BritBlog roundups.
  4. This site has been featured by BBC Newsnight for several weeks after we reporting the On Air Disembowelling of Guido Fawkes by Jeremy Paxman.
  5. The Bloggerheads and JesusandMo referrals are related to my archiving the CCTV (Christian Council for Traditional Values) Sexual Orientations Video in the recent campaign.
  6. Google is google.
  7. I have also been writing about the Cricket world cup, and the International Cricket Council.
