Live Blog: Technorati Tags for Local Election Coverage May 3rd 2007
I’m suggesting that any bloggers covering the elections as they happen use the following technorati tags for their posts:
local-election-2007uk-election-2007local-election-2007-scotlanduk-election-2007-scotlandlocal-election-2007-englanduk-election-2007-englandlocal-election-2007-walesuk-election-2007-waleslocal-election-2007-n-irelanduk-election-2007-n-ireland
[Update: I have received a complaint that Wales is not "local", and that local elections there are next year, so I have made the changes above. I am not getting into comparisons with English regions, as the object is to produce something that is functional rather than a blog war!]
I have kept “uk” to distinguish UK elections from other countries.

That way we can pick up standard RSS feeds from Technorati, and track all posts, or for the different countries.
Anyone who is really keen could go further:

- uk-election-2007-england-nottinghamshire
- uk-election-2007-england-nottinghamshire-scrooby-churchstreet
